2025-26 Biology TA of the Year

Yuliya Shtymburska has been a TA for several courses during her MSc program (in which she conducted reserch on recreational fishing in Saskatchewan).  She has always been incredibly conscientious and professional in all aspects of her work as a TA, both in the undergraduate laboratories and in meticulous grading of student lab work and exams; Yuliya cares very much about student learning.  Post-MSc she is continuing her work in recreational fishing in the province in the laboratory of the Dr. Chris Somers in the U of R Biology Dept.  Congratulations to Yuliya, both for the TA of the Year Award and her successful MSc.
