Research interests:
Conservation biology, wildlife management.

Much of my previous research has focused on using well-designed field studies on birds to answer applied questions related to wildlife management in the prairie provinces. While applied wildlife research is important, I'm also interested in making strong scientific contributions in the field of animal ecology.  As such, I'm interested in research related to species-habitat modelling and landscape-scale biodiversity planning.
