Research interests

Dr. Md. Sami Uddin’s research falls under the broad area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI); primarily, he focuses on users’ rapid development of expertise with computer interfaces. He explores people’s physical, cognitive and spatial abilities to design interaction techniques and graphical interfaces that support users become experts with computers quickly.

Dr. Uddin’s research interests include Landmarks in Computers, Graphical User Interfaces, Interaction Techniques (Touch/Pointing/Gesture), User Experience, User-Centered Design, Novice-Expert User Behaviours, User Learning/Expertise Development, and Large Interactive Environment.
