To Login to Hercules

NOTE: You can still connect to Hercules as long as you are on campus. If you are off campus you have to connect to Titan (titan.cs.uregina.ca) first.

You can follow instructions for logging into Hercules to login to Titan. The main change is that you connect to the host titan.cs.uregina.ca. Your username and password are still the same CS username and password you are use to.

On PuTTY you can create a new saved session as titan.cs.uregina.ca with the Host Name Field set to titan.cs.uregina.ca.

Using a Mac or on Linux you can open a terminal window and do:

ssh <your_username>@titan.cs.uregina.ca

Replace <your_username> above with your CS account username.

Double-click the PuTTY icon on the Windows desktop in any CS lab or in Start | Programs | putty in other campus labs, select hercules.cs.uregina.ca from saved sessions and click Open. Then enter your userid and password when you are requested to do so. To access hercules from home follow the instruction in the PuTTY Settings Guide.
