For Current Students

Whether you are a Geology major or non-Geology major taking a Geology course, we hope you are enjoying your learning experience in the Department of Geology, University of Regina.

You can find detailed information about the courses that we offer, program requirements, recommended course order, and professional accreditation (APEGS) requirements in this website. You can also learn more about your profs, including the classes they teach and their research interests, from their web pages. Throughout the year, there are a number of seminars and other events in the department, which are advertised in this website. You are encouraged to attend the seminars to learn new advances in geoscience that may not have been covered in your classes.

We advise you to plan your schedule as early as possible and follow the "recommended course order" as closely as possible. Most Geology courses are offered only once a year, so if you miss one course your graduation may be delayed by one year or more. See the Department Student Advisor to get more information about the program requirements and make a study plan.
