Math Kangaroo 2025
In March of this year, over 70 students in Regina wrote the Math Kangaroo contest. This contest is an international multiple choice mathematics contest for students from grades 1 to 12. On May 26th, local contest organizers and faculty members, James McVittie and Patrick Maidorn, celebrated the accomplishments of the award winning students who scored the highest grades regionally and some of which who achieved the highest grades nationally. Patrick made the following comment during the ceremony:
"It is an absolute pleasure to take part in the organization and running of the math kangaroo contest from one year to the next. Seeing students progress through the different contest levels and receive awards for their hard work is one of the main highlights of this event."
