Arts Transition Program (ATP)
Are you interested in studying in the Faculty of Arts but currently do not meet the admissions requirements? The Arts Transition Program (ATP) may be for you!
Students with a UGPA between 50-59.99% may be admitted to the ATP, a two-semester program providing academic skills supports, to best prepare you for your academic journey beyond the program!

Program Overview
Cost
The fee for SSW ACT is $1000 per semester, plus regular tuition and course fees for credit and non-credit courses.
Semester 1 Registration Requirements
- SSW ACT course (mandatory, non-credit academic skills workshop)
- ACAD 100 course (3 credit hours)*
- 1 mandatory additional Faculty of Arts credit course (3 credit hours)
- UNIV 001 course (mandatory, non-credit, online module)
*First Nations University of Canada students must take RDWT 120 instead of ACAD 100
Semester 2 Registration Requirements
- SSW ACT course (mandatory, non-credit academic skills workshop)
- ENGL 100 course (ATP-Specific Section) (3 credit hours)
- 1 mandatory Faculty of Arts credit course (3 credit hours)**
- 1 optional Faculty of Arts credit courses (3 credit hours)
**First Nations University of Canada students must take INDG 104 as the mandatory Faculty of Arts course
