Duplicate and Replacement Parchments

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Please note that processing your order at this time may take longer than 7 to 10 days. The Registrar’s Office will not be open for in-person pick-up, so please select mailing or courier as an option for delivery and provide a shipping address. At the time of your request for duplicate or replacement parchments, your student account balance must be at zero before we will process your order. You can make payment at Financial Services, AH 205, or via UR Self-Service.

Duplicate Parchment

If you require additional copies of your parchment(s), you will need to order a duplicate parchment through the online Registrar's Office Store. A separate order will be required for each different degree, diploma, or certificate you require, and fees as stated will apply to each.

  • “Duplicate” and the date of issue will be printed on each parchment.
  • Allow 7 to 10 business days for processing; this does not include shipping time.
  • Due to convocation preparation, requests made during the months of May-June and September-October will be delayed.
  • Shipping times may vary depending on where and how it is shipped.

Replacement Parchment

If your parchment has been lost, damaged, or destroyed; or if you have an official legal name change, order a Replacement Parchment through the online Registrar's Office Store.

  • For legal name change, the original parchment must be returned to the Registrar’s Office before the new one is released.
  • Legal documentation of a name change is required, accompanied by a Name Change Form.
  • A separate order will be required for each different degree, diploma, or certificate you require, and fees as stated will apply to each.
  • "Replacement" and the date of issue will be printed on each parchment.
  • Allow 7 to 10 business days for processing; this does not include shipping time.

Declaration

In requesting a duplicate and/or replacement parchment, you are declaring that neither the original nor the duplicate parchment shall be used for fraudulent purposes, for forgery purposes, or to misrepresent the qualifications, training, and education of either yourself or another person. You understand that if you violate this declaration, you will be subject to disciplinary measures under the University of Regina's academic misconduct policy.
