Short Stay Accommodations

Did you know the University of Regina offers short stay accommodations? If you would like to stay at the University of Regina for a stay under 30 days, please reach out to Housing and Hospitality Services for availability.

Reasons you may request a stay through Hospitality Services:

  • You are visiting a student
  • You intend to stay on campus for less than 30 days
  • You are a post-graduate student, not enrolled in classes
  • You have arrived earlier than Housing and Hospitality Services early arrival period

We would be happy to take you on a tour of the residence's must-see spaces, including common areas, and dedicated showrooms. Tours are offered from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. based on availability. We encourage you to request a tour with a minimum of one week advance notice. Who can stay in residence at the University of Regina?
Any full-time students who are registered in classes are eligible to stay in residence. This includes students from post secondary institutions like Saskatchewan Polytechnic, University of Saskatchewan, or Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies. What is your policy on diversity and inclusion?

When do I have to make my first payment?

To submit your residence application and confirm your room, you must pay your application fee and confirmation fee. Your residence fee is due on the first day of the term; however, we do offer a payment plan option. If you are approved for a payment plan, you will be responsible for paying on the first day of each month within the given term. What is included with my stay in residence?

For students who live on campus at the University of Regina, your accommodation includes high-speed internet, your amenities, furnishings, and more! For more detail about what it is like to live on campus, visit the Living in Residence page.

What if I have any questions about my stay?
Housing and Hospitality Services staff are happy to assist you if you have any questions about your stay. We recommend that you email the Housing and Hospitality Services office at housing.services@uregina.ca and we will assist you. The Housing and Hospitality Services office is open Monday to Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. For additional contact information, please visit the Contact Us page.
Where can I find information about my details if I already have a booking?

We encourage current residents to refer to the Housing Services Portal for up-to-date details and to submit requests. Residents can submit a late move-out request, submit a maintenance request, make their residence fees, and more all right within the Housing Services Portal.
