Learning Skills Consultations

A Learning Skills advisor can help you develop strategies to effectively handle the demands of your semester and get better grades. In one-on-one meetings you can discuss individualized approaches to test preparation, note taking, textbook reading, exam writing, and time management. The advisor can also help by making a referral if a personal problem is impacting your performance.

All support is undertaken on a confidential basis. While your participation in the program following a referral is voluntary, research indicates that students benefit academically and personally from accessing such supports. We hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity.

Learning Skills appointments are available in-person, by phone, or by zoom. To schedule an appointment, click here to be directed to our online booking site.
