For Students

Student life is not just about the classroom. Activities that take place outside of the classroom can be just as important to a student’s education, which is why the Hill School encourages experiential as well as academic learning. There are numerous clubs on campus as well as several events put on each school year. There is a variety of opportunities for our students to get involved with the community at large, and there are a number of experiential opportunities that allow students to apply their skills to real-life situations.

We do our very best to inspire our students to participate in extra-curricular activities so that they can get the most out of their time here at the Paul J. Hill School of Business. Many of our student groups provide students with valuable experience that allow them to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application, and most students also establish professional relationships and business contacts for future careers.

We have had repeated success in business competitions such as JDC West, where we won 1st place for “School of the Year” in 2020, and the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC), where our Accounting team won 1st place in 2018. Our Enactus Regina group's focus on concious capitalism helps students tap into their entrepreneurial spirt and UR Investing allows students to get hands on experience investing $1.7M. We are also known for our student-led community services and charitable activities, such as Kegarama and 5 Days for Homeless, but we’re certainly not all business all the time! The Hill Business Students’ Society (Hill BSS) also sponsors various social and networking events for students to unwind and let loose!

No matter your interests, we offer opportunities that will appeal to you!
