We designed the Levene Executive MBA (EMBA) for seasoned career professionals, with a focus on setting high-level strategy that will position you to reach your utmost potential in visionary leadership.

The Levene EMBA and Levene MBA with Specializations programs, on the other hand, were designed for early-to-mid career professionals on their way to mid-career management. The Levene MBA focuses on developing technical expertise and strategic integration.

The EMBA is an intensive cohort-based program. This means that you complete your entire 18 months of study with the same group of people you start with, developing deep and lasting relationships along the way.

Alternatively, the Levene MBA programs resemble a traditional degree, which means you can customize your schedule and will not necessarily be taking all the same classes as your fellow classmates. That’s not to say you won’t develop great relationships, the opportunity is simply different.

The EMBA is a 36 credit hour program that is structured quite differently, whereas the Levene MBAs are 33 credit hour programs that maintain the conventional structure. The EMBA consists of a four day weekend workshop, two one-week courses, twelve course modules, and the Capstone project, all culminating in the International Study Tour.

While all Levene MBAs finish with an International Study Tour, the MBA programs are intended to be taken either full or part-time, and you are given a choice of evening, online or weeklong intensive classes. You are also given a choice of Specializations to suit your career.

Admission to the EMBA program requires at least five years of mid-to-senior management experience if you possess a four-year bachelor’s degree (if you don’t have an undergrad degree you need at least seven years of management experience).

Conversely, admission to the Levene MBA programs generally require an undergraduate degree (or ask about our mid-career entrance option available), but only three years of professional management experience. We expect a grade point average of at least 70%, and you must successfully complete either the undergraduate qualifying courses or the Levene Post-Graduate Diploma. Completion of the GMAT with a minimum score of 500 is required.

Current tuition for the EMBA program (subject to change) is CAD $49,200 (payable in three installments). The fee includes books, course materials, meals, parking and travel accommodations for the International Study Tour.

While current tuition for the Levene MBA program is less costly, it’s not so much as it might seem. Each three credit hour course costs $3,081 (subject to change), ultimately totaling CAD $33,891. This fee includes airfare and accommodations for the mandatory International Study Tour, but books and other expenses (guaranteed parking, meals, etc.) are not included, making the price difference less significant by the end of the program.

Lastly, advanced standing and transfer credit are not considered for the EMBA program, while advanced standing and transfer credit may meet the requirements for up to nine credit hours towards a Levene MBA program.
