Levene Post Graduate Diploma in Business Foundations Admission Information
Admission to the Post-Graduate Diploma Program has been suspended. Those who do not have an undergraduate degree in Business should refer to our Levene MBA page here.
Applications for Levene graduate programs are considered on an on-going basis and in the order received. Apply as early as possible to ensure your application can be processed in time for your desired program start. Applications received after the deadline are considered but may not be processed in time for the desired entry point, or in time to obtain a student visa. Deadlines are:
- March 1 for September start
- July 1 for January start
- October 1 for May start
Applicants are admitted through the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FGSR) and must meet the following admission standards:
- Four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum grade point average equivalent to Canadian 70%
- Applicants are normally required to have at least two years full-time work experience
- Experience must be obtained after completion of undergraduate degree
- Internships, work placements and co-operative education placements are not accepted as work experience
- A minimum GMAT score of 500 or GRE equivalent is required (Levene Post-Graduate Diploma students are not required to write an additional GMAT before entering the Levene MBA program)
- International applicants must submit proof of English proficiency if their language of instruction in their undergraduate degree was not English. (score cannot be older than 2 years):
- Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): 70
- CanTEST: 4.5 with No Band below 4.0
- IELTS (Academic Version): 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each band
- MELAB: 85
- PTE Academic:59
- TOEFL Paper-based: 580/ Internet-based (DI code: 0830): 80 with a minimum of 20 in each of the four component
Note: Meeting these minimum requirements is not a guarantee of acceptance into the program.
Mid-Career option: A number of individuals with at least seven years suitable work experience, but who lack an undergraduate degree, may be admitted to the Post Graduate Diploma program. These individuals must also complete the GMAT examination with a score of 500 or GRE equivalent. For more information, contact levene.advising@uregina.ca.
Laddering Into MBA program
Students who wish to enter into our Master of Business Administration Program after completing the Post Graduate Diploma must submit a new application. All documents submitted with initial application will be kept on file, however recommendation letters will expire after two years. When laddering into a Levene MBA program, contact levene.advising@uregina.ca to waive your new application fee!
Students may concurrently hold a Post Graduate Diploma and Master degree.
