Joel MacDonald

Conservatory Instructor
Cello, Child/Parent Strings

In His Studio:

Joel MacDonald teaches cello with the Conservatory. Lessons with Joel cost $61 per hour of instruction. He is accepting students at this time. Joel will teach students ages 3 and up, and will teach any level of student. In Joel’s studio, students are required to work towards exams, to participate in recitals, and to participate in Music Festival. He teaches classical music, but will accept non-classical music if it's level appropriate. Joel requires students to supply their own cello (can be bought or rented from Long & McQuade or the Sound Post). Sizing and other considerations for children will be determined at the first meeting/lesson; adults will need a 4/4 cello. His practice policy will be discussed with student/parents.
