Biography:

Olivia Watchman began her musical studies at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at a young age, where she studied piano and theory with Adele Lofgren and Judi Levesque. Olivia received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Regina under the direction of Dr. Katherine Dowling. As the recipient of the FGSR Undergraduate Research Award, Olivia analyzed early twentieth century works as the assistant to Dr. September Russell. An active performer and teacher, Olivia is passionate about the musical community in Regina and enjoys teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Olivia has performed in masterclasses with pianists Charles Richard-Hamelin, James Parker, and Pierre-André Doucet. Olivia’s most recent musical engagements include the Traditional Session at Adamant Music School in Vermont, USA.
