Winter and Spring Camp Assistants

The Conservatory is seeking post-secondary students studying Fine Arts, Arts Education, or Education to join our camp staff for February 20-23, 2018 and/or April 2-6, 2018. To learn more about our camp positions see our Camp Staff page. Assistants are responsible for the supervision of students during break times at camps and assist Camp Instructors with classroom needs throughout the week. Shifts are 7 hours (1 hour lunch) from 7:30am-3:30pm, 8:30am-4:30pm, or 9:30am-5:30pm for the full duration of the camp weeks (4 or 5 days). Adjusted shifts can be arranged on a need-by-need basis. Camp Assistants are hired on a contract basis per camp week and are paid $14/hr.

Camp assistants will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check at their own expense before receiving a contract with thte Conservatory. Voice Instructor

The Conservatory is seeking an experienced voice teacher who holds a music degree or music diploma to join our teaching team on a contract basis. Expertise in teaching foundational singing techniques and an ability to teach musical theatre and pop is an asset. Private instructors at the Conservatory act as independent contractors and teach lessons on behalf of the Conservatory on a weekly basis to students of all ages. Instructors tell the Conservatory when they are available to teach and the Conservatory works to fill the instructor's teaching time as much as possible.

Guitar Instructors Needed

The Conservatory is currently recruiting guitar instructors who are able to teach private lesson classical and contemporary guitar on Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday evenings. An ability/willingness to teach electric guitar will be considered an asset. Private instructors at the Conservatory act as independent contractors and teach lessons on behalf of the Conservatory on a weekly basis to students of all ages. Instructors tell the Conservatory when they are available to teach and the Conservatory works to fill the instructor's teaching time as much as possible.
