Wellness Wednesday: Not Too Old! Exercise and Nutrition

The notion of "I'm too old to do that" is becoming less valid in the context of older adults and exercise. During this presentation we will challenge the idea that "power training," an exercise modality typically seen and performed in the athletic context, is not only safe but also effective for improving muscle performance characteristics in older adults. We will also discuss a dietary supplement which is naturally produced in the body, that may further enhance muscle performance adaptions.
