Application Forms should be returned by January 8 at 4:00pm to be considered for a bursary for winter term. SUG will notify those approved to receive bursaries by January 14 so they can register for class SUG is providing assistance to take.

The Bursary is made possible thanks to funds raised at the BIG Book Sale.

BIG Book Sale 2020 is being held August 13-15.

The Seniors’ University Group mission is to promote the value and availability of lifelong learning opportunities for older learners in the community in collaborative partnerships with the Lifelong Learning Centre. Those wishing to receive SUG rates for LLC courses must be current members of the Seniors’ University Group.

SUG membership is open to those 50 years of age and over who pay the annual membership fee of $30 for the year April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.

From July 2019 the SUG Membership Fee for this year will be $5 and SUG will cover additional $25 from revenue earned at the BIG BOOK SALE last year.

You can join or update your membership when you register for courses to receive SUG membership benefits including:

  • Lower fees for daytime LLC courses
