Important Notice - BIG Book Sale 2021 Cancelled

Sadly, the Big Book Sale coordinating team has decided to cancel this year's Big Book Sale.  Given the issues surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, and the difficulties that we would encounter regarding physical distancing and other important protocols, we feel it would be impossible to have the sale and still keep volunteers and customers safe.

To the great people who have supported us so loyally in past years, we hope to be back stronger and bigger in 2022 with dates for this sale to be posted once they are confirmed.

Our Mission

The Seniors' University Group (SUG) mission is to promote the value and availability of lifelong learning opportunities for older learners in the community in collaborative partnership with the Lifelong Learning Centre. Those wishing to receive SUG rates for Lifelong Learning Centre courses must be current members of the Seniors’ University Group.

SUG membership is open to those 50 years of age and over who pay the annual membership fee. The SUG Membership fee for 2021-22 is $30 and is valid from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. This year SUG Members will pay $15 with the remaining $15 covered from funds raised at the BIG Book Sale. You can join or update your membership online or by phone to receive SUG membership benefits. If you are purchasing or renewing your SUG membership online, you must complete the membership transaction first, then return to register for courses at the discounted rate for members.
