Tim's Story - Business Analysis Certificate
My name is Tim and I have been working as a Business Analyst for three years. I enrolled in the CCE Business Analysis Certificate program to enhance my career by combining my professional work experience with a university certificate.
The volume of job opportunities has increased since I achieved the certificate. I am now qualified to apply for positions that will raise my seniority and salary. This is the advantage I was seeking with the program.
What I valued most about the program are the experienced instructors. Many of whom are founders and leaders of the Business Analysis profession. Instruction moved fluidly between textbook theory and practical experience. Their realistic illustrations of a day in the life of a B.A. often led to valuable group discussion. The instructors were approachable, providing support during and outside of class.
The diversity of the students’ work environments also added to the value of the program. This diversity gave a good balance of questions and experiences for class discussions and learning. Fortunately, many of us were able to complete the entire program together, which allowed us to develop relationships that went beyond networking.
I completed seven courses and achieved a Business Analysis Certificate in less than four months. The sense of accomplishment is great. My perspective and knowledge of business analysis has evolved and given me confidence in my career choice.
