The guest speaker is Dr. Gina Grandy PhD, Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Programs for the Levene Graduate School of Business where she is the RBC Women in Leadership Scholar and a Professor of Strategy and Leadership.  She is the incoming Dean for the Hill and Levene Schools of Business.

Gina Grandy, B.Comm (co-op), MBA, PhD

Dr. Gina Grandy joined the University of Regina in 2013. She is the incoming Dean for the Hill and Levene Schools of Business. She is currently the Associate Dean (Research & Graduate Programs), Professor in Strategy & Leadership and holder of the RBC Women in Leadership Scholar with the Hill and Levene Schools of Business.

Gina’s administrative, research, teaching, and consulting experiences are international in scope. She has held research grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and Canadian Institutes of Health Research. She is the co-editor of two books and her award-winning research on leadership, gender and women’s experiences at work, stigmatized work and case writing has been published widely.

Gina has worked at and with numerous universities across Canada, as well as in the United Kingdom and Ukraine. She brings a wealth of knowledge about undergraduate and graduate business program innovation and design.

Gina has and continues to serve on academic and community boards for local, national and international organizations. Over the past 20 years Gina has consulted for a diverse range of not-for-profit, public and for-profit organizations across Canada in strategic analysis, planning, implementation and leadership development.

Our alumni moderator for the event is Sheldon LaChambre BKin’03, alumni volunteer, successful entrepreneur and CEO and Founder of LaChambre Consulting and Events.
