  • Co-ordinates the preparation and audit of the University of Regina's annual financial statements
  • Co-ordinates the auditor's internal control audit, 3 times per year
  • Oversees the preparation of other regulatory financial reporting to organizations such as Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, Internal Revenue Service, Canadian Association of University Business Officers, Statistics Canada
  • Oversees the Capital Asset and Accountable Professional Expense Accounts (APEA) accounting for the University
  • Carries out various projects as required
  • Creates information for the Board's Audit & Risk Management Committee as needed
  • Handles FAST problems, requests for increased FAST functionality, and FAST upgrades
  • Helps maintain Banner Finance System and underlying tables
  • Participates on a number of University committees such as The Administrators Advisory Group (TAAG), General Administrative Systems Planning Sub-Committee (GASP), Banner Sub-Committee, Technology Risk Management Committee (TRMC)
  • Maintain professional knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development
