Travel

In order to travel on behalf of the University, employees must first obtain approval by filling out the Travel Authorization Form (340 KB) doc

Once approval is obtained, employees can use the University's Travel Agent, or book travel themselves, to arrange flights, hotel and ground transportation. The University is a member of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO). Members of CAUBO have negotiated contracts that can be utilized by universities nationally. Employees can take advantage of discounts when booking travel. Please refer to CAUBO National Contracts for more information.

Canada-wide Procurement Collaboration

CAUBO has signed an agreement with Union Pearson (UP) Express offering CAUBO members fast, stress-free, dependable one way trips between Toronto Pearson Airport and Union Station (downtown) for only $9.

UP Express is North America’s first dedicated air-rail link, offering travellers a comfortable and reliable way to get in and out of the city. It also offers amenities that make the journey easier, like airline check-in kiosks, power outlets, luggage racks, onboard Wi-Fi, and up-to-the-minute flight information.
