Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) is a Washington DC-based non-profit awarding education grants to female full-time students from developing countries who are at least 25 years old. Our mission is empowering women who aspire to better the lives of women and children by supporting their higher education.

Value: $15,000
Eligibility:

- a self-identifying woman, and at least 25 year old at time of application deadline;

- a national of a country llisted on the MMEG Country Eligiblity list (see country list);

- will be enrolled (not just accpeted) at an accredited academic institution when submitting application; and plan to be enrolled for a full academic term after award of the grant by the Board. Have a relevant student visa in national passport

-not hold US citizenship or permanent residency (green card) or Canadian citizenship or Canadian landed immigrant status
