President Keshen is hosting a series of small-group student discussions via Zoom on different aspects of the student experience. Prsident Keshen will be joined by other members of University leadership.
Sessions will be held on the following topics:
- The Indigenous student experience: Monday, February 28: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- The international student experience: Wednesday, March 2: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

- The experience of racialized students, those with disabilities, and members of the 2SLGBTQIAP+ community: Monday, March 14: 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Supporting student mental health: Tuesday, March 15: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Please consider joining me at one or more of these Zoom sessions to discuss what is working, what isn’t, and also how we can tweak things that are close to working, but might still need some attention. And of course, I would welcome your input on any other aspects of the University beyond the primary theme being discussed that day.
You may register for your choice of Zoom sessions here. Please note that to facilitate candid and inclusive discussions, registration for each session will be limited to 30 participants. But I assure you that these are not “one-off” sessions. I plan to hold more of them on a variety of topics in future, so if you can’t participate this time, you will certainly have other opportunities to voice your thoughts.
