Mitacs delivers its curriculum through its learning management system, EDGE, and would like to invite graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to attend online virtual facilitated sessions. These virtual sessions are free of charge.
Our courses are organized in bundles, in which learners must complete a pre-work (which is an asynchronous course that learners can take at their own pace) before registering for a facilitated session.
Pre-work:
explain why reconciliation, equity, diversaity, and inclusion (REDI) are needed, explain these concepts. Recognize where these actions are needed, how to break down cultural barriers
Facilitated Session:
Identifying REDI considerations for their project and discuss how to incorporate these principles into their plan, team, and methodology
Create an account and register through EDGE.
