
New Pre-SW Group Advising (Online)

This session is designed for new UofR distance (off-campus) students who will be starting in the Faculty of Social Work's Pre-Social Work Program in Fall 2021, but students in any study location may attend.
Advising will cover Pre-Social Work program requirements and admission to the Bachelor of Social Work program. Students will also be provided course recommendations, a demonstration of online course registration and the visual schedule builder. During this session, students will have the opportunity have questions answered by a Faculty of Social Work Academic Program Advisor.
Academic advising is strongly recommended for all students.

Note, for on-campus (Regina/Saskatoon) students beginning in Pre-Social Work for Fall 2021, New Pre-SW Student Group Advising will be delivered as part of the U of R Course Registration Days events. Typically, this is an in-person event, but due to COVID-19, it will be delivered online by ZOOM.
