Call for Abstracts

The Prairie Child Welfare Consortium Symposium Planning Committee invites abstracts featuring evidence or promising research/practices relevant to the conference theme:
Child Welfare Transformations: Interdisciplinary Practices, Field Education and Research. Presentations are not limited to academic research. Practice and community based innovations, as well as youth presentations are encouraged.

Presentations are invited in various formats:

  • Workshops/tutorials
  • Oral, Panel, Poster Presentations
  • Storytelling, Theatre or Dance  
  • Academic Research
  • Digital or Photo Media
  • Community-Based Innovations
  • Innovative Practices
  • Program Evaluation

Information for authors of abstracts:
Please fill in this form and insert your abstract according to the instructions mentioned below:

  • The title should be short
  • The abstract should be no more than 250 words
  • The submissions deadline is March 31, 2014
  • Presenters will be informed about the acceptance of their abstracts by April 15, 2014
  • Abstracts are to be e-mailed to: abstracts.PCWCsymposium@uregina.ca

Fees:
All attendees must register for the conference. Conference attendees are expected to assume costs related to travel, accommodations, and registration.
