Who Do I See?
Confused about who you should see on campus?? There are many people that are available to help you on campus and we all play an important but slightly different role in helping you reach your academic goals. See below for descriptions on what each of us do and how we can help you.


Faculty/College Academic Advisors Offer:

  • specific advising related to course selection and program planning
  • professional information related to your major/program of study
  • help in determining course equivalencies and substitutions
  • transfer credit evaluations
  • assessment of graduation requirements

Your Faculty/College Academic Advisor is located within the Student Services/Program Office in your Faculty/College. See below for Faculty/College contact information.


Student Success Centre Academic Advisors Offer:

  • academic advising for students facing academic challenges and those who have not yet chosen a major
  • more in depth information related to on-campus supports and resources to help you succeed in your academic program
  • information for undecided students on the various programs available at the University of Regina
  • interpretation of general university academic policies and procedures
  • information about eligibility and registration for the Transition Programs (AQY, ARP, ATP, and Pathways)
  • assistance using UR Self Service, Degree Audit, and Visual Schedule Builder

  • learning assistance to all University of Regina students
  • assistance in developing strategies to effectively handle the demands of your semester and get better grades
  • individualized approaches to test preparation, note taking, text book reading, exam writing and time management
