Simone has over 15 years of teaching experience, including four years in Kyoto Japan and 12 years at the U of R ESL Program. She has also served as a sessional lecturer, teaching English 100 and 110 and Religious Studies 100 at the U of R, Luther College and First Nations University.

Studying French in school and university, and Japanese in Japan, Simone knows first-hand what is involved in learning a subsequent language. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and gardening.
