One of Canada’s best known financial planners is coming to the University of Regina to share some of his financial planning tips. Jamie Golombek will talk about budgeting, goal setting, saving, investing, debt management and more.

Golombek is Managing Director, Tax & Estate Planning with CIBC in Toronto. He works closely with advisors from CIBC Private Wealth Management, Wood Gundy, Imperial Service and other partners to support clients plan their financial future.

Golombek is quoted frequently in the national media as an expert on taxation, writes a weekly column called Tax Expert in the National Post, has appeared as a guest on CBC News Network and The National and is a regular personal finance guest on The Marilyn Denis Show on CTV.

Golombek is the past chair of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada’s Tax Working Group as well as a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the Estate Planning Council of Toronto, the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
