Welcome to the University of Regina!
The University of Regina has been approved by the provincial and federal governments as one of the Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) to welcome international students with its COVID-19 readiness plan. Before you travel to Canada, please read the following policies and guidance carefully to understand how to prepare yourself before departure and what to expect upon arrival.

General Travelling Requirements
The requirements outlined on this page is applicable to all travellers entering to Canada as an international student. You must meet all requirements regardless of your vaccination status.
Requirements for Fully Vaccinated Travellers
If you are fully vaccinated and planning to travel to Canada after July 5, 2021, you must follow the requirements outlined on this page, in addition to the general travelling requirements.
- Determine if you are fully vaccinated
- On-arrival COVID-19 Test (if selected)
- Quarantine Plan (if applicable)
Requirements for Not Fully Vaccinated Travellers
If you are not fully vaccinated and planning to travel to Canada after July 5, 2021, you must follow the requirements outlined on this page, in addition to the general travelling requirements.
- Proof of a valid pre-entry test result
- On-arrival COVID-19 test
- Post-arrival (Day 8) COVID-19 Test
- Quarantine Plan
