Faculty of Arts

A Cooperation Agreement (January, 2020 – December, 2022) between the Confucius Institute and the Faculty of Arts is dedicated to support Chinese language and cultural-enrichment activities in Chinese-related programs in the Faculty of Arts. The Institute provides administrative and financial support to mutually identified programs and activities such as the Chinese Speech Contest, China study tours, language tutoring and etc. The Faculty of Arts is solely responsible for developing curriculum for all Chinese classes financed with assistance from the Institute and for hiring instructors to deliver all Chinese language courses in the Faculty of Arts.

Centre for Continuing Education

Building upon the strengths of and collaborating with the resources of the University and the community, the Confucius Institute (the Institute) and the Center for Continuing Education (the Centre) established a Cooperation Agreement (January, 2020 – December, 2022) to promote non-credit Chinese courses, workshops and Chinese cultural activities. The Institute and the Centre jointly plan community-based non-credit Chinese courses. The Centre provides administrative support such as hiring instructors, marketing, course registration, providing space for non-credit language and cultural activities. The Institute provides administrative and financial resources to support the development and implementation of non-credit Chinese language courses and cultural activities that are mutually agreed upon.
