Graduate Student Networking

The Biology Undergraduate & Graduate Society (BUGS) is a society bringing together all students (undergraduate and graduate) interested in Biology. Our lounge is in LB 153 and all BUGS members are welcome to come on in and relax, study, or socialize.

The U of R Graduate Student Association represents all graduate students at the University of Regina.

Prairie University Biology Symposium is an annual event which takes place in February. Originating in 1967 at the University of Manitoba, the conference attracts graduate and undergraduate students from the Canadian Prairie and Northern US universities to share their research, network, and explore academic opportunities; various schools take turns hosting the conference. During the three-day conference, students present their research in form of oral and poster presentations, as well as attend speeches by keynote speakers and social events.

The University of Regina Student's Union (URSU) is an excellent resource for student clubs and activities on campus.
