For Faculty and Staff

The University of Regina has a Duty to Accommodate students who require accommodations on the basis of disability, religion, family status, and gender identity. The Centre for Student Accessibility upholds the University's commitment to an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions in the left navigation menu. Here is some important information about accessibility and academic accommodation:
  • Academic accommodations are not intended to interfere with academic integrity or reduce the responsibility of the student to demonstrate mastery of course content.

  • Any accommodation-related discussions with students must be private. The Centre for Student Accessibility treats all disability-related documentation and discussions with students as confidential.
  • There is no prescribed method for providing academic accommodations. The implementation of accommodations will vary depending on the needs of each student and the nature of the particular class.
