The second public forum on the 2016 Campus Master Plan is being held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at the University Theatre & Crush Area, Riddell Centre. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and all interested members of the public are invited to attend the meeting and provide input into the plan.

The Campus Master Plan, which is updated every five years, helps guide the future development of buildings and infrastructure such as roads and pathways, as well as open areas and ecological spaces at the main and College Avenue campuses.

“This is the second of three public meetings planned to seek input into the 2016 plan,” says Dave Button, Vice-President Administration. “The first meeting was used to identify issues for consideration in creating the master plan and this meeting will seek additional input, discuss what we’ve heard to date, and discuss how these ideas may be incorporated into the draft plan.”

The 2016 Campus Master Plan update will support the three strategic priorities of the 2015-2020 Strategic Plan – student success, research impact and commitment to our communities – as well as the overarching areas of emphasis, Indigenization and sustainability.

A third and final public meeting on November 30, 2015 will consider a draft of the plan. For additional information, and opportunity to provide input into the master plan, please visit here.
