Side projects: mellemrum

Thu., Nov. 9, 2017 12:00 p.m. - Thu., Nov. 9, 2017 1:00 p.m.

Location: College West 115

UR International and Creative Technologies (Faculty of MAP) cordially invite you to a talk by Lars Lofgreen, Visiting Artist, from Aarhus, Denmark, on "read-write spaces and read-only places."

Side projects: mellemrum
‘Mellemrum’: noun: a blank - literally the absence of a sign and the space between other more meaningful characters. In Danish, as in most other languages, ‘mellemrum’ is used to mark the end of a word and the beginning of a new one.
Against the backdrop of Aarhus hosting the European Capital of Culture 2017, Lars Bo Løfgreen, adjunct at the University of Applied Science, will give a visual guide to the Danish design regime and provide cursory notes on building a lab space, inserting ‘mellemrum’ and growing cucumbers in an urban environment.
