Indigenous Speakers Series and Dr. Margaret Kovach: Decolonizing Tenure and Promotion

Dr. Kovach, PhD, who is of Plains Cree and Saulteaux ancestry and a member of Pasqua First Nation (Saskatchewan), is a professor at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the author of Indigenous Methodologies: Characteristics, Conversations, and Contexts (2009), and her scholarly work focuses on Indigenous Education, Indigenous-centred research methodologies, and the inclusion of Indigenous ways of knowing in the academy.
