Knowledge Keepers of the Future: A Celebration of the World's Indigenous Peoples
Mon., Aug. 9, 2021 12:00 p.m. - Mon., Aug. 9, 2021 1:30 p.m.
Location: Online (ZOOM)
We invite you to join us as we gather virtually to celebrate the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples through the sharing of stories, tradition, knowledge, and culture from around the world. As we learn and teach and work on shared land, we recognize the magnificence of the world’s Indigenous peoples and cultures and honour the spectacular diversity found throughout the globe and what it brings to our communities. Through language, tradition, spirituality, and more, Indigenous peoples around the world hold an incredible depth of knowledge that has been passed down through generations. Let us come together to learn, to understand, and to become the knowledge keepers of the future.
