Fall 2018 Courses

The University of Regina’s Faculty of Kinesiology & Health Studies will be offering two unique courses in the upcoming semester - one practicum-based course (SRS 181AA - Junior Practicum in Live Event Production) and one intensive seminar (SRS318AA - Advanced Topics in Fan Behaviour and Sport Related Tourism).

SRS 181AA provides a practicum experience introducing students to professional roles in the production of live sporting events. The course includes a weekly lecture as well a lab section which includes an average of 9 hours per week engaging in work-related activities. For more information, click here.

SRS 318AA is a week-long class offered from Sept. 27 through Oct. 3, taught by a professor from the University of Bayreuth in Bayreuth, Germany. The course examines topics and issues concerning consumptive behaviour in sport, leisure, recreation and tourism. For more information, click here.
