2018 Softball Nationals

The University of Regina women’s softball team will compete at the 2018 Western College Softball Association National Championship this weekend in Saskatoon.

The Cougars will open the weekend with Friday matchups against Western and St. Clair College before finishing the round robin with games against Calgary and Durham College on Saturday. Western is coming off a 2017 national championship.

The weekend will conclude with semifinal and final games set for Sunday at Bob Van Impe Stadium.

Regina wrapped up the 2018 WSCA season with a 4-4 record, led by pitcher Leslie Miller who had a team-high four home runs and 13 runs batted in. Rachel Huber was the top pitcher for the Cougars, winning two games and posting a 2.27 earned-run average.
