Schneider off to Roar of the Rings

Former University of Regina Rams receiver Catlin Schneider will be showcasing his talents on the ice in the coming weeks, as the former skip of the U of R curling team will play second for John Morris' team at the 2017 Tim Horton's Roar of the Rings.

Team Morris curls out of the Vernon Curling Club and qualified for the Roar of the Rings in Summerside, PEI earlier in November.

Schneider skipped the U of R curling team for four years and was the third for Saskatchewan's Team Casey at the 2016 Brier. Schneider was named a first-team all-star among thirds at the Brier.

The Roar of the Rings will take place from Dec. 2-10 in Ottawa and will be broadcast across the TSN Network. The winning team will represent Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea.
