The University of Regina’s Department of Film and Paved Arts are thrilled to present the award-winning filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal! Join us for her artist talk at the University of Regina, as well as a presentation of her latest documentary Watermark (2013) at the Regina Public Library Film Theatre.
Jennifer Baichwal’s on-going collaboration with acclaimed photographer Edward Burtynsky began with the feature documentary film Manufactured Landscapes (2006), observing the effects of industrial work on the environment. Baichwal and Burtynsky’s latest collaboration is Watermark (2013), a feature documentary film about human interaction with water around the world. It was the winner of the Toronto Film Critics Association’s 2013 Rogers Best Canadian Film Award.
The artist talk is free. Please arrive early as seating is limited.
