About Us
The University of Regina Aquatic Center is a 25 meter indoor swimming pool ranging in depth from 4’ to 4’6” with a separate 12’ deep dive tank. Activities include open recreation swim times, Aquasize classes, Red Cross Learn to Swim Lessons, Lifesaving Society Leadership Classes, private rentals, birthday parties and home to various community swim clubs. The facility is open to university students, faculty/staff, alumni and community.
The Aquatic Center is dedicated to meet the academic, athletic, and recreational aquatic needs of the University of Regina and when feasible, the city of Regina and surrounding community. This area supports the departmental mission to provide comprehensive recreational programming that meets the needs of members of the University of Regina and broader community.
As the Aquatics Supervisor, I develop programs and work with the Lifeguards to make the Aquatic Centre an area that promotes and supports recreational aquatics. It is our goal that you will enjoy your recreational experience and our aquatics courses. I encourage you to stop by, check out our programs and discover a better "YOU"!
Sincerely,
Gabor Jerkovits
Aquatics and Facilities Services Supervisor
