New Beginnings

Program Description

  • New Beginnings is a summer program for Syrian refugee children ages 5-12

  • Instructors create and execute curriculum to help enhance the children’s English proficiency and help them adapt to Canadian culture

  • Children have the opportunity to participate in weekly activities that include art, science, field trips, recreational sports and community connections

Camp Dates: July 4 – August 25

  • Children need to be dropped off by their parents at Regina Open Door Society by 8:30a.m. or at the University of Regina by 9:00a.m.

  • Parents can pick up children at the Regina Open Door Society by 3:30p.m. or at the University of Regina by 4:00p.m.

Location: University of Regina Centre for Kinesiology and Health and Sport
