You can change a student’s life today.
On December 1st the President’s Office will match your donations to the University of Regina Giving Tuesday bursaries up to $14,300, the approximate number of students enrolled in the Fall 2015 semester.
There are two Giving Tuesday bursaries that you can give to – an undergraduate bursary and a graduate students bursary. These bursaries will help students who face financial difficulties.
Giving Tuesday is a global movement that is dedicated to raising awareness through social media about giving, particularly giving back to non-profit organizations through volunteerism and donations.
On campus today you can visit the Donor Relations table in the Riddell Centre for an opportunity to join Giving Tuesday’s #unselfie campaign.
In exchange for a donation (big or small) you can have your selfless selfie uploaded to the University of Regina’s Twitter page with the hashtag #URunselfie. The #unselfie initiative is a way to show support in social media spaces for both our students and the power of giving.
