For students looking ahead to life after graduation, the Spring Career Fair provides a chance to meet with employers and explore career opportunities.

“This is a great opportunity for all students and upcoming graduates to find out about employment options,” says Kevin Bolen, Director of Student Success at the University of Regina.

This year’s Spring Career Fair - being held on Monday, February 1, in Gym 3 at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health and Sport - is a come-and-go event and is open to the general public.

“It provides an opportunity to explore all kinds of career options, and connect with companies that are seeking different types of employees, including part-time, summer, co-op, internship, volunteer and full-time positions,”explains Bolen.

The annual event brings together students and about 100 public, private and community based organizations looking for employees.

“It’s extremely important for students and graduates to meet decision makers and develop networks to be successful in a competitive labour market. The Spring Career Fair will provide those opportunities,” he adds.
