Below are the current online (UR Courses) training courses and mandatory workshops currently being offered by Health, Safety & Wellness

How to Register
Please email health.safety@uregina.ca with the following information:
1) First Name
2) Last Name
3) Student/Employee ID#
4) Name of online training course(s) required
**Faculty of Engineering & Applied Sciences students are to email lauren.bradshaw@uregina.ca for information regarding what online training is required prior to requesting training here
5) Name of Supervisor (if applicable)
6) Preferred date of workshop for CLS or Biosafety Awarness (see below)
7) Faculty
Please allow 1 to 2 business days for your request to be processed. You will receive a confirmation email with online training information, so please check your official uofr email often.
Chemical & Lab Safety Mandatory Workshop
The mandatory hands-on workshop for Chemical and Lab Safety will be offered virtually (Zoom) until further notice. You must have completed the online training no less than 24 hours prior to requesting a workshop date/time.
Chemical & Lab Safety participants are responsible to request and successfully complete the mandatory workshop for Chemical & Lab Safety no later than **SIX (6) weeks from the successful completion of the online training course.
If you do not request or successfully complete the mandatory Chemical & Lab Safety workshop within the designated six (6) week time frame, you will be required to successfully complete the online training again. This may result in being denied access to teaching and research space(s) that require the completion of this course.

**This does not include a workshop that has been cancelled due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control.
We will reschedule an alternate workshop date/time as soon as it is possible.
Biosafety Awareness Mandatory Workshop
The mandatory face to face workshops for Biosafety Awareness have resumed with a maximum of four (4) participants (to allow for physical distancing with 50% room capacity). You must have successfully completed the online training AND virtual workshop for Chemical & Lab Safety as well as the online training and assignments for Biosafety Awareness in order to be eligible to register for a Biosafety Awareness workshop.
You must have completed the online training no less than 24 hours prior to requesting a workshop date/time.
Biosafety Awareness participants are responsible to request and successfully complete the mandatory workshop for Biosafety Awareness no later than *SIX (6) weeks from the successful completion of the online training course.

If you require Autoclave Training, this information will be provided with your certificate, by email, after successful completion of Biosafety Awareness training.
