These resources are provided to ensure safe academic, research, work, and living practices on campus for students, faculty, and staff. 

Reporting an Incident/Near Miss or Safety Concern

Any individual involved in an incident, regardless of injury, must report it to Health and Safety within 24 hours. Reporting a near miss/safety concern helps us to identify potential hazards on our campuses to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Emergency Management

Emergency management and business continuity strategies for the University of Regina are designed to ensure our campuses and community partners are always protected. _______________________________________ Emergency Wardens can find the supports and resources to feel prepared and confident during an emergency on campus.

Online Safety Courses

We offer several online safety courses (UR Courses) for students, faculty, and staff that may be completed at their convenience - anytime, anywhere! _________________________________________ Looking to self-enroll in our Health & Safety Orientation or Risk Assessment-Theory courses? Yes, both are available here too!

Fire Extinguisher Workshops

Our interactive Fire Extinguisher Workshops are offered to all students, faculty, and staff! Each one hour workshop is designed to provide participants with essential and practical fire safety skills to use at home and on campus.

Safety for Supervisors Course

The Safety for Supervisors course is offered to supervisors each academic term to effectively promote health and safety legislation, communicate safety requirements in the workplace, and lead safety initiatives on campus.

Hazardous Materials and Equipment Safety

Information on Biosafety, Chemical & Lab Safety, Hazardous Waste Disposal, Radiation and Laser Safety.

Travel/Fieldwork and Work-Based Learning

Information on conducting work, study, teaching, or research at off-campus locations.
