2021-2026 Sustainability Action Plan

The Presidents Advisory Committee on Sustainability (PACS) alongside the Action Planning Committee (APC) is actively working towards the creation of the 2021-2026 Sustainability Action Plan. To target sustainability in various areas around campus, nine thematic working groups are focused on gathering and generating information on each subject. A call for volunteers was issued to our campus comminuty and a number of individuals put their names forward.

The volunteers who have made up these working groups have been creating sustainability goals for the campus and ideating priority tasks while defining outcomes for the desired goals. Our volunteers have been enhancing campus engagement through their research, gathering background information, and being innovative regarding each topic, while actively enhancing their sustainability knowledge of U of R sustainability activities, University sector best practices, and world wide practices.  Our volunteers are making a difference by helping the University reach a sustainable future! We are gratful to them.
