1. Set up your student webmail
All new students will receive their own U of R Webmail address. You can access this email account the day after you have registered for courses for the first time.
This is where you will receive all official U of R communications, so be sure to check it often, especially at the beginning of each semester! To access your student webmail account, you will need to find your username and activate your account.
For more information about your U of R student accounts, login information, and passwords, visit the Information Services page on uregina.ca.

2. Register for orientation
The Fall 2021 virtual orientation is the best way to kick-start your first semester! Join U of R faculty and staff, as well as over 1,000 other new students, as you prepare for your first day of classes. This orientation will help you familiarize yourself with campus, get to know your faculty, meet your peers, and more!
Did we mention you can also win some great prizes throughout the event?
You can register for the new student orientation here. There is also an adult learner orientation and a family & supporter orientation.

4. Check out the Welcome Weekend events
Before you start classes, get to know other students and familiarize yourself with the U of R at Welcome Weekend 2021! The Welcome Weekend events taking place from August 27 to 29 will be a mixture of online, hybrid (online and in-person), and in-person events at the University of Regina main campus!
Some of the events include a "Nailed It!" cake-making competition, in-person and online dance lessons, and many different outdoor sports. Make sure you follow the U of R on Instagram @uofreginaofficial for sneak peaks of other Welcome Weekend events!
You can also check out the University of Regina Students’ Union’s (URSU) website to find out about the student centres located on campus, services offered by URSU, campus clubs, and events.
